The Chattanooga Harp Ensemble was organized in November 2005 as an outreach program resulting from the annual Harp Camp operated by the Jan Pennington Gray Harp Scholarship Fund.  Jo Pennington decided to offer area harpists the opportunity to get to know each other and enjoy playing together.

A free concert will be presented on May 22, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church located at 1505 N. Moore Road in Chattanooga, TN.   The CHE director, Tiffany Envid, and special guests, Lisa Dempsey, associate concert master of the Chattanooga Symphony, and Suzanne Sims, cello, will be featured playing several arrangements for strings and harp.
